The truth is many questions away ..

I firmly believe that questioning is right path to the truth. I realised this most at the UW. In a typical classroom students are encouraged to question, discuss and debate scientific concepts. This is considered to be the best way for them to closer to understanding. Any concept will have enough strength in it to withstand questions and eventually answer them. The method of questioning if in the spirit of learning is always encouraged.
Back home we are urged to accept many axioms and live with them. Blindly assuming something because the teacher says so . This makes the foundation weak , and when he is tested on the topic, with a slightly different context, there is bound to be trouble.
This idea is very analogous to religion. Question to find the truth, will only lead
to the truth and hollow questioning will take on astray. But assumption and blind following are dangerous. Without knowing the truths people base their religious beliefs on assumptions and hearsay. They will follow the dictum of the so-called experts and finally be misled by them.
Soon we will become like horses, with their vision restricted only to what their masters want them to see. We should strive to be like the great horses that roam the free lands with only their imaginations to limit them and let their quest for answers guide them.
